Lasagne (serves 10-12)
MISE en PLACE
6 Cups (48oz) Tomato Sauce (1 cup set aside, add ½ water)
1 bx Oven Ready Lasagne Sheets
1# Ground Beef, Mild Italian Sausage or Beyond Burger (Season if necessary)
2 Tbls Oil
15 oz Full Fat Cottage Cheese
1# Shredded Mozzarella (set aside 4oz)
2 Eggs. beaten
2 oz (½ cup) Shredded Parmesan
Preheat Oven to 375'
GEAR
9" x 13" Pan
Cutting Board, Knife
12" Saute Pan
Food Turner
1 Large Bowl
1 Med Bowl
Silicon Spatula
Big Spoon or Ladle
STEPS
1. Make ground meat into patties, Brown in oil. like burgers, set aside to cool.
2. In Medium bowl, combine Cottage Cheese with beaten eggs, then fold in
12oz Shredded Mozzarella. Set aside.
3. Spray Oil 9"x13" Pan. Pour half of the water/Tomato Sauce into pan, spread
around.
4. Finely chop up browned patties, combine with Tomato Sauce in Large Bowl.
5. Shingle 4 Lasagne Sheets across bottom of pan. (they won't reach long sides,
but will stretch during baking
6. Spread ⅓ of Mozzarella Mixture only over Lasagne Sheets.
7. Using ladle or large spoon, Cover Cheese with Meat Sauce, do not go over
edges of pasta.
8. Repeat Steps 5, 6,and 7 two more times.
9. Shingle remaining Lasagne Sheets across pan
10. Spoon last of the water/Tomato Sauce over the Lasagne Sheets.
11. Re-use Medium bowl to toss remaining Mozarella with the Parmesan, Sprinkle
over top.
12. Cover Lasagne first with plastic wrap, then aluminum foil. Bake in center of oven
for 35 minutes
13. Remove plastic and foil, turn half way around, bake for 15 minutes more.
14. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting.
